FAQ’s

1.    Is this conference mandatory?
Yes, Attendance at Branch Leadership Conference is mandatory by at least one key role (or owner in a key role) for each BrightStar Care territory.  Franchisees that do not meet this requirement will be charged a Notice of Default at the single registration fee of $1,000. 


2.    What is the dress code?
The dress code at Branch Leadership Conference is business casual.  Please keep in mind, meeting spaces tend to be cooler than what some consider comfortable, a light sweater or jacket would be recommended.


3.    What should I wear to the Awards Gala?
The Awards Gala and dinner is a semi-formal event.  A cocktail dress/suit is appropriate.  


4.    What is included in my registration fee?  
Conference curriculum, social activities that are scheduled as part of the event, and all meals from Tuesday evening through Thursday. Please note: Food and drinks will not be provided to those that do not register for the Wednesday optional night event. Your hotel room is NOT included in the registration fee, so you will need to make your hotel reservations directly with the hotel by visiting our personalized reservation site: Book Here.                                                                                                                                                                                                          

5.    What days / times should I plan my arrival and departure for conference?
Please refer to the Conference Agenda on this site prior to making your travel arrangements.                                                                                     

 

6.    Will you be able to accommodate my dietary needs?
 Yes, at the time of registration you will be able to indicate your dietary restrictions.


7.    What will the weather be like in Atlanta, Georgia?
Though we can’t guarantee the weather outlook, the average temperatures for April are highs in the mid 70's and lows in the mid 60's.


8.    Am I allowed to bring guests to the social functions during conference, even if I’m willing to pay an extra fee for their attendance?
All conference events (general sessions, breakout sessions, meals, welcome receptions and the awards gala) are for registered conference attendees only. The only time guests are permitted to attend an event is during the awards gala.  During registration you can add a guest for a $200 fee.  The guest must abide by the dress code and will receive the same service as other registered attendees.


9.    Cancellation Policy 
Attendance at Branch Leadership Conference is mandatory by at least one key role (or owner in a key role) for each BrightStar Care territory.  Franchisees that do not meet this requirement will be charged a Notice of Default and the single registration fee of $1,000.  Beyond this requirement, cancellation for any additional attendee(s) will be refunded prior to 3/31/2023.
