2D games are so yesterday. 3D immersive games are where it’s at. But where do you start? Cyber Titans will learn to think like developers, build their own avatars, design worlds, and craft their storylines using Mozilla Hubs while testing it out using their very own VR headset. Then work together with your fellow Innovators to design a VR experience to share with your friends.

Camp Objectives:

• Students will take apart and then rebuild from scratch a VR headset
• Students will learn computer fundamentals of hardware and software
• Students will learn how to program to connect to the stream gaming platform
• Students will work in teams on various activities related to the theme of the camp to facilitate teamwork and idea exchange
• Students will hear from subject matter experts during the “lunch and learn” portion each day that will focus on real-world application of skills learned and how skills can be incorporated into career planning
